Day of Silence - Friday, April 15

THE DAY OF SILENCE which is sponsored by GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, is a day of action where students across the country take some form of a vow of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. Through their activities students can speak out against harassment and organize for change for their schools and communities.

Not a student? No worries, neither am I but I'll be showing my support for THE DAY OF SILENCE by refraining from blogging & tweeting. If you have a blog or actively use Twitter, I hope you will join me and the thousands of others on Friday, April 15th.

If you'd like to learn more, go to DAY OF SILENCE.
