iPhone 5: Available late August (maybe)

According to ThisIsMyNext the iPhone 5 design will change to a more tear drop shape and look more like the iPod Touch than the current iPhone 4. Note that the design in the picture is not an actual reproduction but rather due to some fancy Photoshop work from the blogger. If you'd like to read more about what they are saying click on the link at the start of this post.

Interestingly, the blog BGR is indicating they expect an announcement (and potential release) for the new iPhone 5 as early as the end of August.

My phone contract comes up the end of summer, and I've already decided I won't be getting another BlackBerry. I've been debating whether I should go iPhone or Droid. Hmmm...decisions, decisions.

Well you'll have to make your decision by July 7th because Verizon is changing from unlimited data plans to size based plans with extra charges for exceeding plan limits. If you are a current customer or sigh up before the 7th you should be able to keep the unlimited plan for up to two years.

Att (I think) has been doing it for a while now.

I switched from a semi-smartphone to an Android based phone.

Can't say I regret it, and with AirSync I can push my iTunes library onto the phone.

Allegedly IOS 5 will let you do that. But the Android already does it so guess who won!

I for one am hoping that they release the Iphone 5 real soon. Hopefully, that will cause a nice drop in the price for the Iphone 4 which is what I want.

I'm a huge Apple fan (and love my iPhone, even with AT&T as my wireless carrier) and have found myself becoming a member of the Apple cult, gradually replacing every product with the Apple equivalent (first, the phone, then the computer, soon Apple TV). Happily, resistance is futile. LOL

I think they delayed the release of the iPhone 5 once more!

It's going to release early September instead of late August.

I would personally prefer a Samsung Galaxy or LG Optimus any day!

I personally believe that the iPhone is just an expensive option and the value of a new generation simply diminishes in a year when they launch a new version.
