Bill Gates discusses energy innovation
I know this is not my typical post, but I greatly admire Bill Gates and his wife for their dedication and championing of causes to help make the world a better place.
The video is a bit long, but fascinating. Gates talks about his concern for global warming and its impact on the world (esp the poorest). What I found most interesting starts at the 8 minute mark where he identifies types of energy where he thinks innovation might take place to achieve significant carbon reduction, despite existing challenges.

If, scratch that, WHEN I am a billionaire, that is the way I want to go. As a lifelong Mac guy, I never liked him... now I'm a big fan.
Doesn't make him an expert in everything, but I'm willing to listen to anyone willing to committing their own resources to solve a problem.
