He did do a tremendous amount of work to promote social and cultural equality. If only he'd lived, I think President Obama might have a little more courage than he seems to project now and be a little more forceful in moving our country towards the light, instead of allowing conservatives to move it towards the dark. It is a terrible shame when good men go. They leave an awful hole.
He is missed and will continue to be for years to come...just like his brothers.
Thanks for taking pause and allowing us to remember Senator Kennedy with our reflections.Stan in NHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09473396450228240345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-956299568094045151.post-46824132568858339962010-08-25T15:54:37.217-04:002010-08-25T15:54:37.217-04:00I miss the man...he was larger than life itself as...I miss the man...he was larger than life itself as were his two brothers. I miss him, especially when both parties can't come to an agreement on something. He always rallied the Democrats to do what was best for this country and we're still waiting for someone else (Alan Grayson?) to take the lead.R.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07678870878123301850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-956299568094045151.post-2127499491967457702010-08-25T09:45:27.690-04:002010-08-25T09:45:27.690-04:00Nice post. I have a lot of respect for Senator Kennedy.

If only more people with 'priviledge' would spend more of their time championing the cause of the less fortunate in society, the world would be a better place for us all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
